For those who live in other countries, Channel 5 is one of three UK terrestrial commercial tv stations (ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5). I was watching their Gadget Show yesterday and it came to the competition they were having. The give-away was £50,000 of assorted electronic gadgets, of which one was ‘a 3D printer’. They showed a picture of the printer on the screen and I thought – I recognise that make. It was a Robox. I couldn’t tell if it was the single or dual model, since the picture flashed on the screen. I can’t imagine they’ve just gathered all these gadgets in a Supermarket Shopping dash, so they clearly consider the Robox to be a worthwhile 3D printer.
