I’ve raised a ticket on this but it’s bank holiday so any help gratefully received…
Some background, single material machine
Since new, one of my Robox hasn’t loaded filament fully into the head, when the filament is presented the motors whirr and the filament is drawn into the machine but the filament doesn’t reach the head. Running a test print, at some point the filament reaches the head allows stop, cleanup and start from which time prints are normal
I emptied a PLA reel whilst printing recently and switched to ABS, purging the head first
Loading the ABS reel is problematic. The first two attempts resulted in the motor turning very briefly with the very tip of the filament being grabbed but no more, ejecting and reload hasn’t worked and now the motor doesn’t turn at all, pushing the filament hits a firm obstacle
I may have breached the bowden tube or suspect the filament detector has failed
Can anyone offer suggestion on how to proceed please?

There is a guide to remove and disassemble the extruder, but it is only available if you have an open support ticket. If you want to open a support ticket immediately, just report your region as US and Canada on a new ticket and it will get auto-assigned to me and I can provide support until the UK team is back. Then we can update the ticket to the correct information and reassign it to them.
I operate two Betas and one Production Robox.
See my 3D Hub site at https://www.3dhubs.com/phoenix/hubs/ben02/05/2016 at 6:41 pm #29504Many thanks - the day has got away from me and I am out of time 🙁 will be later in the week now

Extruder filament detect switch had failed, replaced extruder and all is working
How can filament be removed from a head? I have a length of filament dangling from my spare head now…
