I can also see the reel-side “bounce” when it’s moving up 🙁

@chrisyt Hi Chris, i can see exactly what you mean with the 5 mm backlash spring. On top of that, there is also a +-7 mm free-play on the reel-side of the gantry 🙁 Customer support did not yet instruct me to open up the printer so I’ll await their response 🙂 thanks for you reply!

I i was not aware it had 2 motors, it most certainly didn’t feel that way when pushing the gantry up and down ( i guess this is what you mean with sagging). Perhaps something is wrong with 1 of the motors as well. I already made a support ticket, hopefully it will be solved soon:) Thanks for your reply Gary!

I think I’m having the same problem, does the attached picture look familiar to you Gary?
t seems as if the nozzles are too close to the print bed when at the unomotorized side of the gantry. You can see that the small nozzle (red arrows) (which starts at unmotorized side) does not seem to be able to get material through the nozzle. When moving…[Read more]

I think I’m having the same problem, does the attached picture look familiar to you Gary? How did you replace the motors, did the support send spare ones to you?
