    has anybody else seen this advert on tv in the uk ,its one of those build you own printers over the course of so many issues (90) ,it looks like a neat little project to build don’t know if the printer will be much scratch at the end of it though

    i think it works out at about 630 quid ,i think the printer is called the v3

    Thanks. It is nice idea, but it lasts too long (2 years). And what would we do with a second printer? :)

    To print new extruder feed cogs when the robox printed ones run out?

    TBH I’m tempted simply to collect it as a comparison….

    @discosteve from that perspective I went with something cheaper: https://printm3d.com/

    It is less than £300 and theoretically can print those gears (and not much more).

    @discosteve 1/3 of the price for 1/2 of volume - good value for money! ;)

    Not all prints we had are over whole print bed, nor everyone *can* use whole print bed. But smaller things can easily fit on that printer. Plus it is a ‘backup’ while Robox is down…

    @clicky do you think its worth starting collecting the issues ,if i did id use it for doing small parts while my robox was printing something else
