@pelgrim yeah i know what you mean ,hopefully it will do a good job ,all we need now is a kickstarter for a machine to rip up old prints and discarded plastics ,then were all sorted to be self-sufficient

@pelgrim I’ve got my eye on the strooder myself but ill wait until some reviews of it surface ,want to wait to see if its worth buying or not

@jack-strong yeah for colorfabb pla the settings i used work pretty good although for a reel of colorfabb blue grey that I’ve been using it didn’t produce as good results as with the colorfabb pale gold pla

@gid still don’t know how to do it im unless with things like that

I’ve noticed that am compensates for the ambient temp ,if im a couple degrees over the ambient temp i wanted ,am seems to drop bed/or nozzle temp by a couple degrees

@clicky i see where your coming from i just put it out there to see if anybody else had seen add ,I’ve been looking at smoothie boards but am toying with the idea ,at the moment im content with my robox

@clicky im interested in seeing how the colorfabb pellets work in the strooder apart from seeing the strooder on kickstarter and youtube i don’t know anybody thats using one ,looks like it produces nice filament though and colourfabb pellets should be a high standard

@bhudson i had a funny temp drop yesterday after id updated a reel profile ,if noticed with am 1.01 that if you update a reel profile and then don’t quit am and reboot that iys liable to still read the old profile ,i had two prints drop temp drastically because the old print profile had the temp set at 60 instead of the temp id updated to 190 ,was…[Read more]

@gid how do you add yourself on roboxing can’t figure out how i add my location on roboxing

@clicky do you think its worth starting collecting the issues ,if i did id use it for doing small parts while my robox was printing something else

@omega64 i saw a bloke on youtube use a stepper motor and gear it up

@andylion yeah you’d need to make a lot of filament but think something like the strooder would be useful in using up scrap filament and disused builds

i think it works out at about 630 quid ,i think the printer is called the v3
