Hey, this section is kinda dead. Has anyone here had any experience with the Taz printers? I almost bought a Taz when I started, and I may still get one yet.
Not used it but i have only heard good things about Taz printers.
However it does seem really expensive for what you get. The Taz6 is £2300 and is not enclosed(or easily enclosible) so printing anything other thay PLA and PETG is very tough. The moving Yaxis and what looks like a huge heavy extruder and hot end that might limit the print speed a bit. They recomend 30 to 50mm/sec. I do like the way they have propper connectors for every part though and the head cleaning mechanism looks pretty handy.
Personally I think that there are plenty of options thay get you more bang for your buck. Cubicon, UpBox or e3d bigbox for instance.

Robox is designed to be Plug and Print. We are designers, we created Robox to allow us to spend more time designing, testing and refining our prototypes. Doing our jobs basically. As designers we did not want to spend time levelling or preparing a build plate, looking up or testing settings or tweaking profiles. We wanted a 3D printer which makes printing easy. Robox has won best of Plug'n'Print 2 years running. It is also the only printer which is safe for use in education at all levels.
