One of my printers will drop out of AutoMaker, and I have to unplug the USB and plug it back in to get it to reappear. Is this a known issue, or is the printer a special little guy?
This has been across multiple versions of AM, multiple Windows installations, and at least two motherboards.
July 1, 2017 at 11:40 pm #42543Could it be either a dodgy USB cable, or a dodgy USB connector (physical) on the printer?
Have you tried replacing the cable?

July 2, 2017 at 6:23 am #42545@saiken This may be one of several things - bad USB cable, loose connector on the USB cable or the printer, a bad microSD card, or an older model mainboard. I would try the USB cable first. If that does not work, change the microSD card with any size Class 6 or better. If that doesn’t work, open a support ticket and I will send you instructions on how to determine if the mainboard may be at fault.
I operate two Betas and four Production Robox.

See my 3D Hub site at https://www.3dhubs.com/phoenix/hubs/benJuly 3, 2017 at 1:06 pm #42547There was a change to the way the grounding early on. If you compare your 2 printers with the left cover off you might see a wire joined to the X rails on one but not the other. There are a few other changes too.
Does the same problem occur when you have a USB hub in-between the printer and the computer?
