To all: be careful, keep your eye on the temperature indicator in AM. My nozzle failed me by keeping at 210-212 degrees at my third attempt to print. ABS started to smell. Ejecting the filament (and spool) failed…

Thanks Zach, I’ll check the connections to be sure (if I can get to it). I thought that CEL had fixed that problem, but I’m probably wrong.

It seems like my Robox is okay, at least optically. Got some smears and fingerprints on it (not mine), but seems okay besides that. Not connected or tested my brand new robox yet. I’m just glad that the side where the additional attributes box (abs reel, tools etc) was placed, was damaged. My Robox would have seriously been taken a hit otherwise.

Yes! Robox is in da house! Only, the box is damaged. I’ve had the delivery man make a note before signing. Gonna open the box in a minute to see if my robox is okay…

@merlin I’ve not seen DHL yesterday although 2 pieces were “with delivery courier”. The 2 pieces were shipped again this morning, only 1 delivered this afternoon. I’m not getting my hopes up. Apparently, the purge before printing should end up in this hole. More people (including me) thinks it’s strange, but it should be easy to remove by removing the front plate (don’t know how) and turn the printer over so it will slide to the front. Please search the forums for the right topic(s).

@merlin Just wondering, did you order some extra filament with your Robox? I did, so maybe that’s the delay. I suspect that the filament is not in yet (no stock in the store).

@jack-strong Just to be precise: ‘Pete’ and ‘PyroPetePete’ are two different persons. The first one is still working at CEL. The second one not anymore (he only started a couple of weeks ago). I don’t know if PyroPetePete quited himself or that he had to quit (and that’s none of my business).

I understand your point, but it might interfere with other robox future extensions. So I can understand why Cel don’t it to be open source (yet ?).

And… software is never finished. There will be bugs always …. (not saying the majority will notice them all the time)
